Contributed paper sessions will take place daily from the afternoon of Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 16 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. Oral presentations that are not part of one of the symposia will be grouped by subject matter. Time limits will be strictly enforced: fifteen minutes total (twelve minutes for presentation and three minutes for questions).
Prior to the meeting, oral presenters can submit their presentation(s) [preferably 16×9 format] by email to Alliance AV at JMIH2017@allianceav.com
Use the following format when naming your files:
military time – paper# – Last Name
Examples: 915 – 445 – Todd 1345 – 766 – Smith
Onsite oral presenters should submit their presentations to an Alliance AV representative by 3:00 p.m. the day preceding their presentation. Alliance AV will be set up in Nueces located on the lobby/atrium level of the Renaissance to receive presentations at the following times:
Wednesday, 12 July – 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, 13 July – Saturday, 15 July – 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The technical coordinators available will immediately load and review presentations as they are submitted. A presenter’s memory stick or CD will be returned when the presentation has been successfully loaded.
An Alliance AV representative will be present in each meeting room to monitor equipment and presentations.
Three Speaker Prep Rooms will be available at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. Blanco, Canadian and Colorado, located on the lobby/atrium level, will have computers and projectors available for speakers to practice their presentations. A sign-up sheet will be posted outside each room. Speaker prep rooms are available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, 12 July.
