Self-Report Form PDF

The Register of Deeds School (24 hours), and at least one Webcast Course in-person or online (3 hours) are required courses to receive Register of Deeds certification. Hours may also be earned through the June Seminar, the Fall Kansas Register of Deeds Association Meeting Workshop, and Fall and Spring Webcast Courses. A total of 36 hours is required for certification. See the Certification Information page for more.

Hours can also be earned through pre-approved activities offered by any of the approved associations on this page. Other programs provided by associations not on this list should be submitted for review and approved by the Register of Deeds Education Committee.

All hours earned toward certification through associations on this page must be submitted using the Self-Report Form (see link above). A $30 fee will be assessed to process each self-reported activity form. Self-Report Forms should be submitted to:

1615 Anderson Avenue

Activities should be submitted in a timely manner, within the calendar year in which the activity took place unless otherwise approved by the Kansas Register of Deeds Association Education Committee.

Approved Associations Offering Professional Development Activities:

Professional development activities through associations not on this list must be submitted to the Education Committee for consideration. In situations where there are questions regarding acceptability of an activity relative to the Register of Deeds program, the form will be forwarded to the Register of Deeds Education Committee for review.
