OPENING SOCIAL

Come kick off the conference with an opening night reception! Enjoy the opportunity to socialize with friends, colleagues, and other conference attendees, as well as welcome new members and meeting attendees to the Society. Hors d’oeurves will be provided for registered guests, along with a complimentary drink ticket and a cash bar. Must purchase tickets in advance! The Opening Social is co-hosted by the Membership Committee.

AUCTION FOR THE FUTURE MAMMALOGISTS FUND & SOCIAL

Support the ASM’s Future Mammalogists Fund through donating to and purchasing from the auction! The Auction will begin at 9:00 pm sharp. Hors d’ourves and a cash bar will be provided. The Auction for the Future Mammalogists Fund is co-hosted by the Development Committee.

23rd Annual Gordon L. Kirkland Run-for-Research

  • Date: Sunday, June 9th
  • Time: 6:30 am
  • Location: Gathering outside of Folsom Field, to run on Boulder Creek
  • Cost Per Person: $25/registration; $25/t-shirt

The Run-for-Research is a 5K run or walk. The run was named after Dr. Gordon L. Kirkland, a prominent mammalogist who made many contributions to this field and to the Society. All proceeds from the run go to the Future Mammalogists Fund, which gives Grants-in-Aid for student research. Refreshments will be available for participants following the run. The Run-For-Research is co-hosted by the Development Committee.

STUDENT SOCIAL

  • Date: Monday, June 20th
  • Time: 7:30 pm
  • Location: The Connection at CU Boulder

All student attendees are welcome to come and socialize with friends and colleagues, as well as meet new student members! The Connection features a bowling alley, pool tables, and board games. Pizza will be provided, and D.J. will perform! The Student Social is co-hosted by the ASM Graduate Students & Education Committee.

CLOSING SOCIAL & AWARDS CEREMONY

Join us at the Closing Social and Awards Ceremony to celebrate another year of mammalogy and to congratulate colleagues! An informal dinner / cook-out setting will be provided to registered guests, along with a complimentary drink ticket and a cash bar. Must purchase tickets in advance!
